The goal of this role is to drive community engagement; key initiatives include building and curating a content library, developing and launching new community programs, measuring the success of these programs, and building the systems to sustain continued rapid growth. We’re looking for a great Personal Finance Author and Community Manager to nurture this amazing group.
Content Curation and Generation
Design and execute a community content strategy.
Create original articles, white papers, and blog posts, and synthesize community discussions into meaningful articles.
Write weekly roundup email summarizing most important content from the community of the past week.
Manage all internal and external content (blog, internal library of resources, directory of service providers, etc.)
Community Management and Member Engagement
Design and execute the community engagement strategy in order to retain users, increase engagement, and raise NPS.
Moderate, listen and engage regularly with community members, providing them with any support and resources they need.
Conduct periodic check-ins with community members to ensure the space is meeting their needs
Build, measure, analyze, update and track community KPIs.
Design processes and tools to ensure scalability of these efforts.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to produce polished articles.
A strong grounding of financial, investing, and economic concepts.
Passion for building a community.
Interest in being part of an exponential growth entrepreneurial team; desire to grow personally and professionally and take on increasing levels of responsibility.
Self-directed; ability to translate high level objectives to personal work plans.
Good technical understanding; can select, deploy, and utilize software tools and processes to ensure sustainability and scalability.
Comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
$75,000 / year salary
25% target performance bonus (deferred compensation)
100% 401(k) match, up to 10% of salary
Remote work anywhere in the US; salary is not dependent upon location; must have legal authorization to work in the US
